1. The Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan has received a loan from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) towards the cost of “Navoi Thermal Power Plant Modernization Project (Phase 2)”. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the Contract for “Construction of a CCGT with a capacity of more than 600 MW, a 500/220kV substation and a power transmission line at Navoi TPP”.
2. Bidding will be conducted through procedures in accordance with the applicable Guidelines for Procurement under Japanese ODA Loans, and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries, as defined in the Loan Agreement.
3. The Joint Stock Company (JSC) Navoi TPP now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the design, execution and completion of “Construction of a CCGT with a capacity of more than 600 MW, a 500/220kV substation and a power transmission line at Navoi TPP” (“the Works”). International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with JICA's Single-Stage Bidding Procedure.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of Project Implementation Unit (PIU) at the address specified below.
5. A complete set of the Bidding Documents may be purchased and inspected by interested Bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of six hundred (600) US dollars.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 15-00 (Tashkent time) on May 31, 2021 and must be accompanied by a Bid Security of fifteen million (15,000,000) US dollars.
7. Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 15-00 (Tashkent time) on May 31, 2021 at the address: Uzbekistan, Tashkent, Bunyodkor Street, 23, floor 1, Conference hall.
