Contract: Construction of 2 gas turbine units with an output of 27 MW at Tashkent TPP.
- The Republic of Uzbekistan obtained a loan from Japan International Cooperation Agency to finance the costs of the construction project of the Tashkent Cogeneration Thermal Power Plant, and it is expected that part of the funds from this Loan will be applied to certain payments under the Contract for the Construction of Two Gas Turbine Units (GTU) with an output of 27 MW each for Tashkent Thermal Power Plant, concluded as a result of a tender, for which this prequalification is carried out.
- Tashkent TPP JSC intends to pre-qualify contractors and / or firms for the turnkey construction (ECP) of two gas turbine units (GTU) with an output of 27 MW each at Tashkent TPP. The work includes detailed design, supply of materials and equipment, assembly/implementation of the proposed works and equipment, commissioning, testing and test start-up, as well as training of local personnel for operation of a gas turbine power plant with steam generation. The work includes construction of two highly efficient combined cycle plants with an output of 27 MW each. Each unit includes a gas turbine (GTU) with a low emission of nitrogen oxides, a generator (voltage 11 kW, frequency 50 Hz), a transformer, a waste heat boiler (WHB), a gas booster compressor, a main control panel and accessories. The heat of the exhaust of the gas turbine generates steam into the waste heat boiler. The waste heat boiler will be connected to the existing common steam drum, which supplies the superheated steam to the existing steam turbine (ST), a reduction and cooling unit and pressure reducing system (DPRS). The project also envisages construction of a gaseous fuel treatment plant, a commercial gaseous fuel metering system and a fire extinguishing system, including the construction of respective buildings and structures and the necessary electrical equipment.
- It is expected that an invitation to the tender will be made in May 2020.
- Prequalification will be carried out in accordance with the procedures in accordance with the applicable Guidelines for Procurement under Japanese ODA Loans and will be open to all Applicants from eligible countries as defined in the Prequalification Documentation.
