As we previously reported, on March 3, 2021, Uzbekneftgaz GTL Plant for the first-time accepted fuel gas. With the start of the fuel gas acceptance, start-up preparation works started at the Plant's boiler units.
Installation works of the boiler feed water pipelines for the plant's boiler units and their chemical treatment have been fully completed. Chemical treatment works were carried out in close cooperation of Uzbekneftgaz GTL Plant, EPC contractor – Enter Engineering Pte. Ltd., and Solarca (Spain) specialists’ team.
Pre-start chemical treatment is a mandatory condition for start-up of modern and high-precision equipment. The purpose of chemical treatment is to prevent corrosion and ingress of any particles and impurities into the system. Pre-start chemical treatment precludes problems during start-up, operation and maintenance.
Upon completion of chemical treatment, the boiler feed water will be supplied to the boiler units for commencement of start-up works.
