The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan and JSC Thermal Power Plants give priority to the continuous improvement of the level of specialists, providing enterprises with personnel with a modern level of knowledge and skills in the field of electric energy production.
According to the company, this year it is planned to improve the skills of 4,517 out of 10,076 employees of the system, including 3,984 production employees, 323 specialists and 210 managers. As a result of the measures taken in this direction, the qualifications of 380 employees were upgraded during the 1st quarter.
It is also important to study the international experience of introducing modern standards in the process of production of heat and electricity. To this end, JSC Thermal Power Plants has established cooperation with the Saint Petersburg Institute of Energy for Advanced Studies under the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation. According to the curriculum, 35 production workers have been trained in Saint Petersburg so far.
The Italian company AC BOILERS S.p.A is working in the maintenance of modern environmentally efficient power plants. More than 100 employees are planning to improve their skills and exchange experience in the relevant institutions of the company.
“In addition to international educational programs, it is planned to improve the skills of our employees at domestic production enterprises and training centers”, Head of the Human Resources Department of the Thermal Power Plants JSC, F. Turgunova said. – During the year, it is planned to train 207 employees at the training center “Kelajak Energetikasi” of JSC Navoi TPP, 150 at the training centers of Uzbekhydroenergo.
It should be noted that JSC Thermal Power Plants is carrying out systematic work to ensure the implementation of the priority tasks identified by the President of our country to ensure the employment of students in higher education institutions. In particular, 35 students of the higher levels of 4 higher education institutions in our country, specializing in training specialists in the electric power industry, were attracted to contract paid practice at power plants based on the results of the competition.
Young people who have completed an internship are provided with jobs at power plants.
