The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with a delegation of Tatneft PJSC headed by General Director Nail Maganov.
Uzbekistan’s Minister of Energy, Alisher Sultanov, noted that Tatneft PJSC is an important partner of Uzbek companies in implementing investment projects in the fuel and energy complex.
During the meeting, the parties discussed implementation of several investment projects, including exploration in Uzbek investment blocks, intensifying oil production and expanding the network of Tatneft petrol stations in Tashkent.
The parties also agreed on further actions to accelerate the project “The Second Stage of Production of Tyres” and other products at Birinchi Rezinotehnika Zavodi LLC, located in the Angren free economic zone.
Another aspect of cooperation is the professional development of specialists. The assistance of Tatneft PJSC and other geologists, will help specialists to be trained on oil and gas field development. The training will take place in Russia, in March.
During the talks the parties noted their mutual interest in expanding and strengthening their bilateral cooperation.
